Board Members
The Rural Financial Counselling Service NSW - Central West Inc Board of Directors, consists of 5 members from across the region who bring a variety of expertise, skills and knowledge to the organisation.
The role of the board is to:
- meet all legal requirements including Deed of Grant compliance;
- provide effective leadership and collaborate with executive management on:
- articulating the service provider’s values, vision and mission;
- developing a strategic plan and ordering strategic priorities; and
- developing and maintaining the service provider’s structure to support the achievement of agreed strategic objectives and outcomes;
- monitor the performance of the Chief Executive Officer against agreed performance indicators;
- review, agree on and monitor achievements on the business and strategic plans, communications and risk management plans, and the annual budget;
- establish committees, policies and procedures to facilitate the effective discharge of the Board’s roles and responsibilities including a Board self-evaluation processes and training;
- ensure that all significant systems and procedures are in place for the service and maintain appropriate corporate governance structure; and
- ensure that all significant risks are adequately considered and accounted for by management.
