Applications and Forms

  • Farm Household Allowance (FHA) The Farm Household Allowance (FHA) provides eligible farmers and their partners who are experiencing financial hardship with assistance and support to improve their long-term financial situation.

  • Drought Assistance Fund Interest free loans of up to $50,000 are available to eligible primary producers to assist in implementing systems and management practices that enhance the sustainability of their enterprise.
  • Emergency Drought Relief Transport subsidy. A subsidy of up to 50% of the total cost of transporting stock to sale/slaughter/agistment or fodder and water is avaialbe to eligible primary producers in NSW
  • Other Assistance - NSW Drought Strategies Other measures to assist producers and small businesses, including consideration for deferral of payments, and contact details for rural support workers.

  • Farm Innovation Fund Assistance for primary producers to identify risks, improve permanent infrastructure and ensure long-term productivity and sustainable land use, aiding in meeting changes to seasonal conditions.
  • Transport Assistance - Natural Disaster Following a declared natural disaster with the cost of transporting fodder and/or water to an affected property; stock to sale or slaughter and stock to/from agistment.
  • Drought Concessional Loans To assist farm businesses recover from and prepare for future droughts and return to viability in the longer term.
  • Dairy and Drought Recovery Concessional Loans The Drought Recovery and Dairy Recovery Concessional Loans Scheme allows eligible Farm Businesses to access two types of loans - Drought Recovery Concessional Loans, to recover from the effects of drought, and Dairy Recovery Concessional Loans, to assist Dairy Farm Businesses impacted by the 2015-16 reduction in milk prices.
